Casey Crabill, Treasurer

Board of Directors

Casey grew up in East Greenbush, NY and attended Camp Little Notch in the late 60’s and early 70’s – just as her mother did in the 1940’s, her sisters did in the late 70’s and her daughter did in 2002. She later worked in the kitchen and as a counselor. In many ways, Casey would not be who she is without the formative time spent at Camp Little Notch.

Casey attended Skidmore College and did her graduate work at the University at Albany where she earned a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. Her entire career was in higher education, specifically community colleges, where she taught English and eventually became an administrator. Casey served as President of College of the Redwoods (1999-2006), Raritan Valley Community College (2006-2013), and Onondaga Community College (2013-2022). She retired from Onondaga Community College. As president, Casey was responsible for the full operation of each college, managing people, activities, and resources, including public funds, grant resources, and charitable gifts.

Throughout her career, Casey has a long history of service on non-profit boards including: Humboldt Area Foundation (Arcata, CA; chair 2003-2006), Redwood Community Action Agency (Eureka, CA), Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce (Eureka, CA), Somerset County Workforce Development Board (Somerset, NJ), Central New York Community Foundation (Syracuse, NY; chair 2020-22), CenterstateCEO (Syracuse, NY; executive committee member).
