Getting to Camp
Supervised bus transportation is provided with two bus pick-up/drop-off locations: one in Albany, NY, and one in Saratoga Springs, NY. Because the lower portion of the camp road is one-way, we encourage campers to ride the bus if possible. Campers may alsoget dropped off/picked up at camp by car if bus stop locations are not convenient. Details are provided in camper packet upon registration.
Campers are assigned to live in units of 12-24 according to age. They live in groups of four in platform tents or cabins, with four to five staff in a centrally located tent within the campsite. Each campsite has a wash house and latrine, campfire circle, and cabin for gatherings, cookouts, and activities.
Friends may request to be assigned to the same group as long as they are close in age and request each other. We do our best to honor these requests. Campers can expect to live with new friends in their tent or cabin and make new friends while participating in camp activities.
Three tasty kid-friendly meals are served each day in the dining hall, and snacks are available as needed. Campers have the opportunity to cook out or “pack-out” at least once a day and are involved in planning these meals. Please contact us if your camper has special dietary needs.
